Hey!! I'm so excited that you're here. My Name is Helen Cavell I am the face of Cavells Designs, the designer behind the sewing machine creating all the dresses. I am a first time mom to my beautiful baby boy William, since embarking on this journey of motherhood it has driven my passion for Cavells Designs. I aim to empower women and embrace all body shapes and sizes.

I found my passion for fashion fresh out of high school working at a small clothing store in my home town. From there I went to Fashion design school, this is where my true "passion for Fashion" blossomed. After that I dabbled in making a few different types of garments until I truly found what speaks to me after having my baby, bohemian, romantic dresses.

The process...

I am a one WOMAN show (with alittle help from my mom)... first I get inspired by the things around me, then draw up the design, picking out the fabric which is one of my favorite parts of the process this is where the design comes to life, I sew it in house, and manage the business all with a baby on my hip.  Buying a dress from Cavells Designs, is supporting a mama, friend and small business owner.
